Description:
The Network Administrator is responsible for all aspects of systems administration pertaining to networks and network components including network servers, routers, switches, firewalls, gateways. This includes implementation, configuration, coordination, control, maintenance, backup, troubleshooting, security, usage monitoring and the development of specialized network procedures.
Qualifications:
BS, Engineering , Computer Science
Must have four (4) years of network design, implement and sustain experience to include at least eight years supporting DoD. Bachelor degree in Information Systems or related IT discipline and thorough hands on expertise in Cisco, Nortel, Foundry equipment are required. CCNA, ITIL Foundation and Security+ are required. CCNP+Security and VoIP certifications are desired.
Specialized Experience: Must be capable of leading projects that involve the successful management of teams composed of engineers and other information management professionals that have been involved in analysis, design, integration, testing, documenting, implementing and sustaining IT systems. Solid understanding of DoD DIACAP process is a must, DON/USMC C&A working knowledge is a must.”
